STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS - JUNE 2017


The Human Services Coalition is an organized volunteer group of employers and employees from Special Care Homes, Home Care Agencies, Community Residences, Family Support/Attendant Care and ADAPT agencies.

Two Advisory Committees have been established consisting of employers, employees and government representatives. These groups are proposing applications to the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Board (AOCB) to standardize and certify two new voluntary occupations.

This initiative is expected to recognize the role our expertise and services play in the industry, provide recognition of occupations, and a credential that can be recognized by government, employers, and the public for both recruitment, retention and salary.
